![]() ![]() For some reason LEGO have yet to grasp the concept that most collectors would like arm printing, where necessary of course. The printing again is top notch and what we’re used to seeing from LEGO. I’m not at all clued-up on the Comic Books so can’t refer to them sadly. ![]() Putting all that aside it is most definitely an awesome Minifigure to possess and again will be added into my ever growing Marvel collection.Īs mentioned before we don’t fully know what’s going on here as it will most likely be in the movie. It’s just this particular configuration is exclusive. Although she is an exclusive Minifigure her Legs, Hair, and Head have all been used in other sets. His head is also very interesting, I don’t know much about this new rendition of Taskmaster but I can’t wait to find out when they finally release the accompanying Black Widow movie next Year!īlack Widow is also very impressive dressed in her White suit. Printed on his head and torso are great and really look the part, with its blue & orange accents and dark blue protective suit. I must admit this is the first Taskmaster in my collection and he’ll no doubt end up on display with my other Marvel Minifigures. We’ve seen Taskmaster in a previous set, LEGO Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase Set 76162, the only difference being his hood. We get Black Widow (White costume), Taskmaster, and Red Guardian. To watch the entire build process head over to our IGTV Instagram account here: Īs always it was the Minifigures that sealed the deal for me, with two of the three being a set exclusive. Once fully constructed I enjoy pulling each wheel segment off to see how they all work, it’s quite interesting seeing the techniques used. It’s also really satisfying to play with and what it tackle different obstacles. Using Technic elements to make them rotate and pivot is genius, an awesome feat of LEGO engineering. It’s done really well and is definitely something very interesting to see and tinker with, see how it functions and what it takes to build it. If you’re into new techniques and exploring how things work you’re in for a real treat when it comes to the wheels.Įach wheel segment moves independently to the other, perhaps just like in real life we have a mechanism that allows the wheels to adjust to its terrain dynamically. Along with two viles of pink goo we have a printed 1×2 mobile phone tile and a black briefcase. Taskmaster must have either stolen them and Black Widow & Red Guardian need to secure them or he has come up with some evil concoction. Inside the crate are some nice details too. With room for transporting a crate full of top secret chemicals and added clips for storing his shield and weapons. It has space for a driver, which in this case is Taskmaster himself. There are some nice elements included and utilised well, from the paint rollers as wing mirrors to the exposed hinge parts as added detail. Whatever it’s meant to be I really like it and would like to see more in this style. However I can’t quite get away from the fact that this is so close to a ‘land to sea’ vehicle. LEGO and their long standing policy is to stay clear of anything Military or War related. When it comes to the vehicle, which is a cross between an ATV and a small tank! Yes we’ve had some nice display stands recently, the LEGO Star Wars Helmets spring to mind, but in general plinths aren’t really a necessity especially when most are designed for younger fans. The main build and the accompanying display plinth are so unique looking and hardly ever done in official LEGO sets. Being a LEGO Marvel fan, and Marvel in general, adding the three included Minifigures to my ever expanding collection seemed like a dream come true, more on the Minifigures later in the review. Having seen this rumoured long before it’s official release I knew I had to get it, even more so than the Bespin Duel set. ![]()
